Transcarpathian Regional Theater of Drama and Comedy

In 2017, the Transcarpathian Regional Theater of Drama and Comedy moved from Mukachevo to Khust. A short time later, a small cast was recruited, a theater orchestra comprising of local musicians was assembled, and Kyiv director Serhiy Arkhipchuk was invited to pave the way to the company’s success. As a result, in February 2018, the theater successfully staged its first premiere performance, a musical drama titled ”Natalka Poltavka". In 2019, leading actor and director Vyacheslav Davidyuk became the main director of the theater. Over 4 seasons, the theater has played 19 premiere productions and is now preparing for its 5th anniversary season with its 20th premiere production, “The Fireplace Master”, a dramatic composition based on Lesya Ukrainka’s works.
