Chernihiv Puppet Theater named after O. Dovzhenko

Since 1988, the Chernihiv Puppet Theater has been producing child-friendly shows. With two acting troupes - dramatic actors and puppeteers - its repertoire boasts a collection of over 40 performances, which have been receiving international recognition during festivals and tours in Ukraine, Austria, Bulgaria, Poland and Germany. It harmoniously combines the traditional forms of theater with new forms of expression and exploration, leading to creative experiments and projects. The Chernihiv Puppet Theater has more recently been expanding the age category of its audience, adding more complex and philosophical productions.
