A street mystery in 1 act. "The Maidan is alive, as if it were the rhythm of my heart," declares young Anya, searching for her beloved Orestes in all the hospitals of Kyiv. Faithful to the words "freedom or death," she became a participant in the Revolution of Dignity in 2013-2014. The play combines different realities and forms of presentation, revealing at the same time intervention theater, documentary, virtual and medieval mystery. "Maidan Inferno follows the crossed fates of Ukrainian revolutionaries from the moment they are beaten by Berkut to the annexation of Crimea and Russia's invasion of Ukraine. It is the first Ukrainian play staged by a French puppet theater based on a play by playwright Neda Nezhdana.
