Lesia Ukrainka National Academic Drama Theater
The Lesia Ukrainka Drama Theater in Kyiv, founded in 1926, has always been famous for its select ensemble of actors and directors. Performances such as “The Living Corpse" by Leo Tolstoy starring the inimitable M. Romanov, "The Morals of Mrs. Dulska" by G. Zapolska and "Trees Die Standing Up”, "Warsaw Melody" by L. Zorin starring the wonderful Ada Rogovtseva and O. Wilde's comedy "The Importance of Being Earnest" have become legendary, on the stages of this reputable theater. Since 1994, People's Artist of Ukraine Mykhailo Reznikovych has been the theater’s director, propelling the company’s vision to new heights of success.
